This article introduce some methods of to test the disposable spontaneous exothermic pad, such as hand warmer, body warmer.
2. Terms and definitions
The highest temperature
The highest temperature of the warm pad from the beginning of the heat to the end.
Heating duration time
The heating time of the warm pad to 40℃ and above.
Average temperature
The weighted average of the temperature during the heating duration time of warm pad.
Heating-up time
The time it takes for the warm patch to heat up to 40°C from activation.
Ratio of secure temperature
The ratio of the time that the heating temperature of the warm pad lasts at 48°C and above to the duration of the heating time.
3. Warm pad category
According to the method of use, it is divided into non-adhesive and pasteable warm pad.
4. Standard
4.1 Package
4.1.1 The printing on the outer bag is clear and complete
4.1.2 The outer bag and inner bag should be flat, heat-sealed firmly, without holes or cracks.
4.1.3 The warm patch should be soft, flat, and without lumps and irritating odors.
4.2 Temperature characteristics
The highest temperature should not be higher than 70°C.
The average temperature should not be higher than 48°C.
The heating duration time should not be less than the stated value.
The heating-up time should not be more than 15 minutes
The ration of secure temperature should not be less than 60%
4.3 Using effect
1. From the perspective of the outer packaging, the color is bright, no variegated, and fine workmanship!
2. From the surface of the inner bag: the inner bag is clean, tasteless, and the non-woven fabric is flat!
3. Experience from the heating process: uniform heating, slow temperature change, no rapid heating or cooling!
4. After-used status: don't fall, the inside will form lumps after used!
